I sat down the other day and checked out a guide that had been sent to my inbox by a friend of mine who is a devoted Farm Town fan. She said that it was changing how she played the game in a dozen different ways, so instead of rolling my eyes (which was my original inclination), I checked out the guide.
Let’s just say I’m glad I didn’t roll my eyes and ignore her message because this guide is actually a tremendous new opportunity for anyone that is playing Farm Town and not doing so hot. This is a game that tries its hardest to make the game a pain in the butt so that you hand over your hard earned cash or credit card number to Playfish to speed things up.
So, having a guide that shows you all the secrets and shortcuts that have already been uncovered makes a lot of sense when it comes to laying out a good plan for your farm. If you’ve ever played the other big farming games like Country Story or FarmTown, you know what you’re getting into, but you may not know what this game in particular wants.
It’s a complex and far more detailed game than the other ones with requirements to plant, water, grow, and harvest in separate instances. The plots are closer. The seeds are far more volatile and the number of other tasks you can perform on your farm are far more numerous. You need to do a lot of things right if you want even a halfway decent gameplan to work with here.
So, it’s not surprising that Farm Town Domination, the new guide I checked out, is doing so well. Honestly, I would recommend it to anyone that plays Farm town even just casually. It’s a onetime investment that is going to help you play this game much better in the long run than you would if you were just tagging along for a while planting and harvesting when you have the time.
